GT Football Training - Hardcore Strength & Conditioning
At GT, we utilize the skill set, knowledge and credibility of our Professional Football background to train and prepare our athletes for success on the Gridiron. Our warehouse gym has all of the resources and the competitive atmosphere needed in order to achieve your individual and team goals as football athletes.
Our belief is that those football players who gain explosive power, strength, size, speed, agility and conditioning will excel on the Gridiron, and will help prevent injury. At GT, we believe there is no off-season from the weight room. We offer different services for Pre-Season, In-Season and Off-Season Football Strength & Conditioning Training to football teams and individual athletes at every level. Our GT athletes work incredibly hard to get great results and must understand the importance of maintaining those increases in strength, speed and endurance throughout the football season.
Our training methods are based on Max Effort training for maximal strength, Dynamic Effort training for muscle development and Rate of Force Development training for explosive power.
Our programs focus on creating a competitive environment for our athletes and team building. We teach our football athletes and teams on character, leadership, accountability, communication and all of football’s life lessons. We combine maximum effort upper and lower body training methods along with our dynamic effort training methods in order to create a larger more powerful athlete specific to the game of football. We also focus our conditioning on movements and distances correlated to the game of football. Therefore, we implement our strongman training and GPP training.
In addition our GT athletes are educated on the importance of nutrition, supplementation, rest, hydration and other helpful components.
Youth Football Training
Our youth football training program services football athletes between the ages of 10 and 13. We put a heavy emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals. We focus on strength training with bodyweight training exercises such as push-ups, chin-ups, sit-ups, lunges and other various exercises. We will also introduce and teach our youth athletes the proper core lifts such as bench press, squat and deadlift in order to build a foundation for the future.
As part of our youth football training we will incorporate football position specific technique training and drills. We will teach our youth athletes to be fundamentally sound for the game of football.
High School Football Training
The GT High School Football Training Program is broken down into two categories, sub-varsity and varsity. The sub-varsity football athletes will focus primarily on muscle development and endurance through higher rep working sets and learning proper form and techniques. The goal is to create a positive, safe and learning environment for the athletes. We want to teach the game of football and the proper football training methods in order generate interest from the athletes.
The varsity level football athletes will be introduced to our max effort and dynamic effort training methods as well as our Rate of Force Development through the implementation of Plyometric exercises and Functional Strength Training exercises such as Tire Flips. Our varsity level athletes will learn to compete at a high level on the Gridiron through our intense training atmosphere.
College / Pro Football Training
The GT College/Pro Football Training is designed specifically for the serious and committed football athlete. These athletes compete at a high level on the Gridiron, therefore we have created a very intense and competitive atmosphere at our gym. Our athletes will train using our max effort , dynamic effort and Rate of Force Development training methods. There will be a heavy emphasis on workout variation in order to stimulate the Central Nervous System and elicit growth with our advanced athletes.
Life Skills
The game of football is the ultimate team sport. The skills and values that we learn from this great game extend way beyond the field. We will incorporate Life Skills training into our training sessions through team building exercises. Our athletes will be exposed to a highly competitive group and team atmosphere. We will teach our athletes on the importance of leadership, accountability, discipline, Hard Work, communication and all of the important life skills that will help them to be successful on the Gridiron and in Life.
Football Technique Training
Becoming Bigger, Faster, Stronger is only one piece of the football puzzle. Athletes must learn how to carry-over and utilize all of their successful gains and results in the weight room over onto the field. Our staff of former NFL players will teach our athletes the proper fundamentals and proven techniques of football taught at the highest level at each position. Our athletes will become fundamentally and technically sound through our extensive positional drill and technique work.
College Recruiting Guidance
Many of our High School Football athletes have goals of playing at the next level. We will help guide and educate you on the process of recruiting from our past experiences as football athletes and coaches. We will utilize our vast college football coaching network to get your name out there. We have also teamed up with GM Sports Productions, one of the leaders in sports video production in order to get your highlight and game films done the right way, and give you the exposure you need.
NFL Combine Prep
A tremendous showing at the NFL Combine and Pro Day workouts can help increase a players stock dramatically. These results can mean a difference of thousands, and even millions more dollars. At Gridiron, we specialize in training Offensive Lineman. Our staff of former NFL Offensive Lineman will teach all of the specialized training for the Combine and Pro Days. Come learn from the men who have done it themselves and have “Walked the Walk”. Our Offensive Line Draft prospects will be trained by our staff of former NFL offensive lineman. GRIDIRON TRAINING will be responsible for your clients dominant performance at the NFL Combine, ability to out perform the expectations of NFL Scouts, and impact the evaluations of decision makers.
